Providing meals for the migrant workers amid COVID-19 outbreak

Our initiatives to help foreign workers who have been affected by the “Circuit Breaker” due to COVID-19

Every day we are catching up on the latest news on COVID-19 situation here in Singapore. And in recent days, we have seen that most of the COVID-19 cases raise drastically amongst the migrant worker’s communities. Our heart goes out to those who have been severely impacted by this pandemic.

Furthermore, let us all come together and say a BIG “THANK YOU” to the sacrifice and contribution of these migrant workers who toiled behind the scene. Many of them worked 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, on our sunny island, yet often enough, we all fail to notice that it is the hard work of these migrant workers who helped create our nation to what it is today. From the building that we lived in, to the facilitates that we get to enjoy and the tall gleaming skylines which make up the façade of Singapore to showcase to the world.

To support the migrant workers, Compass Group Singapore is working closely with NGOs – Hope Initiative Alliance, as well as other corporate partners to assist them in providing meals to all the migrant workers during this period. Together, we are working tirelessly to prepare over 15,000 meals, delivering to across 15 different locations island wide daily.

Compass Group Singapore pledge to do our part in creating a better community for the migrant workers who play a key role in driving our economy.
