Head of Procurement

Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the organization’s overall procurement strategy and procurement functions in Singapore
  • Creation and improvement of best practices based on process – leadership of high value and strategic sourcing efforts
  • Identify, gather and analyze information of potential vendors, and recommends appropriate vendors to the organization
  • Manage and review procurement documents of all supplies, equipment and services for the organization and ensure compliance with the Procurement Policies
  • Develop key performance indicators to achieve business objectives for assured supply, quality and cost effectiveness
  • Establish bid standards to solicit bids and contracts
  • Obtain cost estimates for materials, supplies and services
  • Maintain records of approved suppliers and periodically evaluate vendor performance
  • Monitor spending, contractor performance and expiration of agreements
  • Support internal and external audits and requests for information
  • Coach and guide the team to support requests from the Business Units
  • Establish a center of excellence
Health and Safety Responsibilities
  • Follow Compass health, safety and security procedures
  • Maintain safe personal presentation standards
  • Consult on health and safety matters
  • Report all incidents and hazards immediately
  • Complete all required HSE training
  • Adhere to site food safety plan, hygiene procedures and standards

  • Relevant Inspection Forms / SOPs / PWI
  • Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in business management or procurement related disciplines or a related area.
  • At least 10 years of working experience in the similar role
  • Experience in F&B procurement / purchasing is a plus
  • Proficient in SAP Material Management Modules
  • With Strategic mindset and problem solving skills
  • Possess excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Team player, with ability to work well with all levels and engaging with stakeholders
