Hospitality Service Crew (Part-Time)

Job Purpose:

To support day-to-day operations of pantry, vending, service areas, and meeting/conference room setups as needed. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service during peak periods or to cover for absences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient customer flow during service hours.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of pantry supplies, vending machines, and beverage stations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of vending machines, service areas, and pantry equipment.
  • Set up and clean meeting rooms and event spaces as per requirements.
  • Support end-to-end service delivery during events or meetings, including last-minute changes.
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of glassware, crockery, cutlery, and general service areas.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of pantry and consumables during assigned shifts.
  • Assist with waste disposal according to hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Actively manage and tidy seating and communal areas for optimal use and appearance.
  • Support other duties as directed by the Facility Manager or Supervisor.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Compass Singapore HSE systems and procedures
  • Follow all Emergency Response plans on site
  • Follow procedures for identifying, assessing and controlling hazards and risks
  • Adhere to and maintain food handling standards and food safety plan at all times

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in F&B, hospitality, or facility support preferred.
  • Comfortable working on an ad-hoc basis, including weekdays/weekends or during peak periods.
  • Must be able to carry out tasks that involve standing, lifting, and moving items.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and customer service.
